Joining the lab
We're building the lab's first cohort. If you're excited about small-scale robotics, swarm intelligence, microsystems, fish-inspired design, or taking robots into the field, we'd love to hear from you. We are especially excited to have lab members with experience building things! Make sure to address your research interests and any relevant experience in your application.

Prospective PhD students
We're recruiting PhD students interested in robotics, MEMS, or swarm intelligence. Apply through the Lehigh ECE graduate admissions portal and mention Prof. Ni in your statement of purpose. Please also email Prof. Ni a CV and a short note on your interests. Students with their own funding source, or with a strong NSF GRFP proposal, will be considered favorably.
Postdocs
We do not have postdoc positions open now. You are welcome to contact Prof. Ni if you would like to discuss support for applications to postdoctoral Fellowships via external funding sources.
Current Lehigh students
Undergraduate and MS students interested in hands-on robotics research — for course credit, a thesis, or summer research — email your CV and a note on what excites you about the lab. We expect at least a year of commitment from you.
